A product builder by profession, people builder by choice and creative builder by passion, I see myself more as a business professional than a mere Information Technology professional. I am enriched with broad set of educational and career experiences grounded in Technology, Business, Strategy and Education.
Literally, “DEEPAK” means THE LIGHT and my family name “PANIGRAHY” means SUBMISSION FULLY, probably for submission or sacrificing life for a cause, making the meaning of life FRUITFUL in true sense, in gist. For me, Life is all about LOVE and TRUST. I have some very big dreams and I am determined to achieve them one day. I have always believed that impossible things in this world are there only to make them possible and carve a way out of them. That is what SUCCESS truly means to me and I live by my belief. Of course, that makes me very much addicted to my Dreams and Hope and that is what keeps me kicking every day I wake up.
I am the co-Founder of InstaSafe Technologies Pvt Ltd, a cloud security firm based in Bangalore, India. I have experience in the domain of software security products, formulating strategies for marketing and fund raising campaigns. At InstaSafe, I champion the product and market strategies, the vision with which I started the company.
Prior to living my dream job, I worked as the “Product Head” at Nevales Networks Private Limited, one of the hottest startups of India. Nevales Networks is a Nasscom Emerge 50 startup for 2011 and won as the top 10 technology SaaS startups in 2012. I focused to envision the secure business cloud product vision of Nevales to meet the requirements of Small Medium Enterprises and assisting partners to chose the best security solutions for their customers. I championed the product development, architect, design and strategy for N300-X with the Nevales Centralized Management Portal (NCMP). My work included identifying and evaluating new technical solutions available in the market. I have considerable experience in designing and implementing security solutions based on identity access management and encryption technologies for a wide range of industries. Multi-disciplined with experience from architectural design, implementation and systems maintenance, I was responsible for interacting with customers worldwide. especially India, to translate future needs to product plans of Nevales.
I spent 5.5 years at Database Security team of Oracle India Private Limited and and Identity Access Management Research team of Motorola India Research Labs. At Oracle, I was core team member of a product, Advanced Security Options (ASO), which went on to become the largest revenue generating product among all streams of products in the Database Security. I am also a regular public speaker by hobby and is a certified “Competent Communicator” and “Advanced Leader-Bronze” by Toastmasters International, California, USA.
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering from Utkal University and Masters of Technology from International Institute of Information Technology (Formerly, Indian Institute of Information Technology), Bangalore (Deemed University).
